Have you ever wanted to make a garden flourish in the desert so you can step out in your backyard and grab your dinner? Well then, the Champion School Garden Club is for you!
Mark Boen is one of our fourth grade teachers with over 35 years of teaching experience. He is a wealth of knowledge and an instrumental part of our community involvement here at Champion.
Savor the flavor of biological farming from the Champion School Garden, available each day minutes fresh in the school lobby. Enjoy giant Sweet Texas Onions, zucchini, cabbage and cucumbers!!

Onions!! Enjoy our Legend Onions. They are an improved hybrid of the Texas Sweet Onion and are the sweetest and best ever. Get ready for onion rings, French onion soup or fried onions!! They are just 50 cents each and are available in our school lobby Monday through Thursday from 8 to 4:30 and Friday from 8 to 1.
We also have zucchini available in any size. Zucchini is the most versatile vegetable and is amazing fried, in zucchini bread and in a multitude of ways!! They are 50 cents each and are available in our school lobby Monday through Thursday from 8 to 4:30 and Friday from 8 to 1.
Garden cabbage is a sweet treat whether it is steamed, fried or in cole slaw!! Each head is a dollar each and is and is available in our school lobby Monday through Thursday from 8 to 4:30 and Friday from 8 to 1.
